Licensed Massage Therapist
Location: BioHAKD Longevity Lounge, Irmo, SC
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor



Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about holistic wellness and experienced in delivering a wide range of therapeutic massage techniques tailored to individual client needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, customized massage therapy sessions based on client goals and assessments
  • Perform a variety of massage modalities, including but not limited to:
  • Swedish (relaxation) massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Medical/therapeutic massage
  • Prenatal massage
  • Hot stone therapy
  • Cupping therapy
  • Sports massage and recovery techniques
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment
  • Educate clients on wellness, recovery, and ongoing care recommendations
  • Accurately document client sessions, preferences, and treatment plans
  • Uphold all state regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines



Qualifications

  • Active South Carolina Massage Therapy License (required)
  • Certification or demonstrated experience in multiple massage modalities (deep tissue, prenatal, cupping, hot stone, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative wellness environment
  • Professional liability insurance (preferred for contractors)
